Nash Gallery (formerly Nashawannuck Gallery) is a independent fine
arts gallery and retailer of locally produced ‘artifacts:’  jewelry, pottery,
clothing and curiosities founded by Estonian emigre, Mai Stoddard, in
1995. Stoddard, a long-time resident of Easthampton and owner of the
former Wing Travel, intuitively deduced that the town could rival its
neighbor, Northampton, as a cultural mecca and helped spur the town’s
cultural renaissance by creating a space where art and commerce co-
existed harmoniously, supporting local artisans and initiatives for a
vibrant cultural district along the Cottage Street district.

In 2009, she passed the baton to her daughter, Marlies Stoddard, upon
her return from a few decades afar (Key West and Nicaragua).. Marlies
redesigned the space and rechristened the business as "Nash Gallery",
When she is not on her quest for new unique merchandise and art,
Marlies volunteers her time working for various organizations including
Easthampton City Arts+, The Easthampton Cultural Council and The
newly designated Cottage Street Cultural District. Marlies sits on the
Board of Directors of the Greater Easthampton Chamber of Commerce
who named her "Business Person of the Year" in 2012. In 2014, Marlies
was selected as one of the top 10 "Woman Business Owners of the
Pioneer Valley" by the WBOA.

For the past twenty years, Nash Gallery’s been the place to to view top-
